HEALTH IMPROVEMENT

The institute uses health promotion approaches to address factors that determine health with a focus on Non Communicable Diseases(NCDs), health systems strengthening, maternal and child health(MCH), reproductive health, nutrition, communicable diseases including HIV and AIDS, water and sanitation.

SOCIAL EMPOWERMENT

The institute endeavors to meet the health and social well being of communities and influence shareholder's input with a focus on community-based monitoring systems, crime and violence prevention, gender-based violence and social protection.

CAPACITY BUILDING

The institute ensures the improvement of human resource capacity by offering internship opportunities, conducting strategic trainings, seminars and workshops to staff, exchange programmes, team building exercise and retreats.
